For some reason, the title makes me think of Sex and the City. Eye Guy travels to the city to get his Juxtapoz magazine and Ramune soda once a month. The city residents shun him for his odd appearance. He must be strong as they pelt him with empty Captain Morgan bottles.
Eye Guy is inspired by http://imadeinky.com/2010/02/22/365-%E2%80%93-5-minute-%E2%80%93-sketch-%E2%80%93-day-48-%E2%80%93-eyeball-monster-of-shadow/
Medium:
Drawn in MyPaint, edited in GIMP with Wacom Graphire 2

Posted in Geeky Computer Post with tags fixing laptop, hp pavillion dv9000, laptop, ubuntu 9.10, windows xp on March 5, 2010 by imadeinkyI have my laptop back and have been offline the past few days working on it. I set up a dual boot OS (Windows XP, Ubuntu 9.10).
3/3/10: Picked up laptop, wiped drives, partitioned, loaded Windows XP, loaded Ubuntu 9.10, installed all Windows service packs and updatesk, and loaded programs for Windows.
3/4/10: Formatted second hard drive, and bought a laptop cooler.
It’s been a pretty exciting past few days. So far, the freezing issue hasn’t reproduced.
Tonight, I have more work to do on it. I am also working on some sketches for paintings for a possible upcoming local show in April.
